South Boston Community Health Center’s Dental Department provides comprehensive oral health care for children and adults. Our adult clinic offers a wide range of services from cosmetic work like veneers and bleaching to basic and preventive dental work including cleanings, sealants, fillings, root canals and crowns/bridges. As part of our initial comprehensive examinations, we provide oral cancer screenings and discuss various options for treatment based on oral evaluations.

Our general dentists are also faculty from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and they supervise fourth year dental students in the department.

Our pediatric department provides dental care and orthodontic referrals for children from the ages of one to sixteen years. Our pediatric specialists are professors from Boston University and supervise fourth year dental students.

The environment for our pediatric patients is both fun and informative. We are equipped with some of the latest technology. And as you would expect, we adhere to the strictest infection control standards and use water purification systems and amalgam safe disposal systems.
