Coming Soon: Improvements to Our Phone System
Starting May 29, 2026
We’re excited to share that we’ll be making an improvement to our phone system this spring. This update is designed to make calling the Health Center easier and to reduce your time on the phone.
What to expect
Many callers will first speak with Sasha, our virtual assistant. Sasha can:
· Answer quick or simple questions right away, or
· Send your call to the right staff member if you need more help
Why we love Sasha (and think you will too!)
· Sasha speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese
· By handling simple requests, Sasha helps our staff spend more time on your more complex needs
Tips for using Sasha
· Speak in a natural, conversational way
· You don’t need to use short commands or keywords
Example:
Instead of saying: “Prescription”
You can say:
“Hi, I’m calling to talk to my PCP because I think I need to change my medication. This dose isn’t working for me.”
Sasha understands full sentences and normal conversation flow best.
We’re still learning
Just like any team member, Sasha may need help learning new situations. If something doesn’t work well, please let us know—we’re happy to help improve her.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we work to make your experience better.
