South Boston Community Health Center is proud to announce our 2026 Harbor of Hope Auction & Cocktail Reception, an evening celebrating the people and partnerships that make exceptional, community-based health care possible.

Each year, Harbor of Hope brings together friends, neighbors, business leaders and community partners in support of South Boston Community Health Center and the thousands of patients and families who count on us for care. Guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails, food, great company and an exciting auction, while helping us advance our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate health care to everyone who walks through our doors.

In addition to raising funds in support of our work, we’ll also be honoring two exceptional individuals:

Gilbert Winn, CEO of Winn Companies will receive our Partner in Hope Award in recognition of his decades of work expanding access to high quality, affordable housing and his unwavering committment to treating residents not just as tenants, but as valued partners. His efforts to include tenant voices, invest in resident services and build communities where people are empowered, not just housed, has set a powerful example in the field.

Peter Welch, founder of Peter Welch’s Gym will receive our Beacon of Kindness Award. Peter has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a true community partner. His unwavering support of South Boston’s nonprofit organizations, his willingness to step up when help is needed, and his dedication to helping our neighbors to live healthier, more active lives embodies the spirit of the award.
