Does SBCHC accept my insurance?
SBCHC accepts all major insurances. Visit our Accepted Insurance Carrier page to view a full list of plans with their corresponding insurance specialist's contact information.
Who can get prescriptions filled at the pharmacy?
On-Site pharmacy services at SBCHC are offered to patients and community residents.
How can I transfer my prescription from another pharmacy to the pharmacy at
SBCHC?
Switching is easy. Simply bring in your existing prescription container or call the pharmacy at 617-638-8810. The pharmacy will take care of the rest.
Is off-street parking available at the Health Center?
Parking is available in the Silver Street parking lot at the rear of our main building at 409 West Broadway. On-street parking is available but may be limited. Please note parking restrictions posted on city signs.
How can I refill my prescriptions at the pharmacy?
Simply call the pharmacy at 617-638-8810 with your refill request and a pharmacist will be happy to assist you.
I have trouble paying for my prescriptions, where can I find help?
The BMC Pharmacy at SBCHC accepts most insurance plans including Health Safety Net. SBCHC Health Insurance advisors are happy to assist you in applying for reimbursement plans.
How do I sign up for MassHealth?
Visit our Health Insurance Services Department to apply for MassHealth. We can do an online or paper application that will screen you for eligibility for all MassHealth coverages, ConnectorCare Plans and Qualified Health Plans.
How will Obamacare affect my Medicare benefits?
The Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to as Obamacare, will not have any effect on Medicare. People receiving Medicare benefits do not need to reapply through the Health Connector.
