At SBCHC, you can express your health concerns in any language.

We represent and serve all of the people who make up South Boston and our surrounding communities. At South Boston Community Health Center, we strive daily to provide care that is not only high in quality but also culturally sensitive.

Interpreter Services Available 24/7 at no cost to patients

At SBCHC, we have interpreters ready to assist you and your family. We contract with the Language Line to provide our patients with on-demand access to:

  • Remote video interpreters who speak over 40 languages, including American Sign Language.
  • Telephonic interpreters who speak over 240 languages.

We also have staff interpreters on-site who can assist Spanish and Albanian speaking patients in-person. We have many bilingual providers and counselors, too, who are able to eliminate language barriers while delivering the care you need.
